The hotel can be reached using the bus service that departs from the airport every 15 minutes. Alternatively guests can avail of the hotel’s transfer service. Taxis and car hire services are also available at the airport.

The Taormina-Giardini Naxos station is just 5km from the hotel. From here guests can catch a taxi to the hotel, which takes just 15 minutes.

From Palermo, Agrigento, Siracusa via CATANIA: Arrive in Catania from any of Sicily’s other cities via the A19 Palermo-Catania motorway or the Strada Statale 114 (Siracusa/Ragusa). Keep driving until you reach the Tangenziale di Catania.

Follow signs for the TANGENZIALE OVEST and the A18 MESSINA. Take the A18 CATANIA-MESSINA motorway and proceed for approximately 40km. Take the TAORMINA exit and follow signs for TAORMINA. On nearing the city centre, after having passed the large LUMBI car park, the road will become even steeper.

At the end of the climb you will see a stone arch - the entrance to Taormina’s main street Corso Umberto where all traffic is prohibited. Turn right towards a small, steep slope, at the end of which you must turn left (leading you along a building on your left) to where the road (Via Timeo) is blocked by a barrier with a "Transit Prohibited" sign on it. Don’t worry about the sign as Grand Hotel Timeo guests can enter onto Via Timeo. At the end of the street, crossing Corso Umberto you will find yourself in front of 2 small streets.

Take the left one, indicating the direction towards the Teatro Greco (a brown street sign) and at the end of the slope you will find the Greek Theatre and the Grand Hotel Timeo Hotel side by side.
 

From Messina: Take the A18 Messina-Catania motorway in the direction of Catania. After approximately 45km you will find the TAORMINA exit. Then follow the directions as above.
