Grand Hotel Timeo’s glamorous location made it the perfect choice for Dolce & Gabbana’s recent photo shoot. The celebrated Sicilian fashion designers reserved the hotel for exclusive use: for two days it was home to stars and models, brought together to showcase the Fall-Winter 2013 collection. The shoot took place on our terrace, with Mount Etna as a backdrop—the ideal setting for a collection inspired by Sicily itself. Then the celebrations began. The team and special guests enjoyed Bellini’s opera, Norma, at the Greek Theatre before returning to the hotel for a buffet of delicious Sicilian sweets. The party ended with stunning fireworks, arranged exclusively as part of the event.
